Obituary For Karen Louise Howk January 14, 1948 – October 7, 2025

Karen Louise Howk, a resident of Henryetta, OK, passed this life on October 7, 2025 at the age of 77. Born January 14, 1948 to Phillip and Mildred (Vassaur) Lomax, she married Johnny Howk in Henryetta, OK on June 20th, 1969. Karen devoted herself to raising her children and later found great joy in her role as “Gran” to her granddaughter, Avery.

She is preceded in death by her husband Johnny Howk and parents Phillip and Mildred (Vassaur) Lomax.

Karen is survived by her daughter Jennifer Howk of Dallas, TX, daughter Julie Howk and husband Johnny Neuman of Wasilla, AK, son John and wife Beth Howk of Edmond, OK, granddaughter Avery Howk of Edmond, OK and sister Cara and husband Greg Hanson of Pratt, KS.

A graveside service celebrating Karen’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Westlawn Cemetery in Henryetta, OK with Rev. James Hunt officiating.
